Nita graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the Ontario bar in 1995. Nita practiced commercial litigation and was a profit sharing partner at a prominent Toronto law firm, followed by several years of pro bono work at Law Help Ontario. An energizing speaker, Nita speaks primarily on conflict resolution and purposeful living.
Nita holds a masters degree in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School. Nita is a roster mediator for the Ontario Mandatory Mediation Program and has worked pro bono as a mediator and as a mediation coach with the Winkler Institute for Dispute Resolution. Nita is interested in helping parties uncover their interests and goals in a collaborative and respectful manner. Nita is a member of the ADR Institute of Ontario.
Nita is a trusted coach and has completed professional coach training recognized by the International Coach Federation. She is a certified Cinergy Conflict Coach and she has worked in conflict management and life transitions. Nita has also written extensively on the transition of older workers into purposeful retirement. Nita provides workshops on working with conflict and on purposeful retirement.
